The Loop
Seeing the loop hasn't stopped it. Neither has thinking about it.
You've talked about it. Understood the shape of it. Recognised where it comes from. And every time, you're still standing at the same edge of it, watching it play out again.
The way out of this cycle isn't through more of the same.
What It Is
Somatic work for people who are done going round.
The Loop is a way of working that starts where thinking has stopped being useful. Not a course. Not a package. An ongoing rhythm of somatic work, done together, that meets the pattern where it actually lives.
You don't need to have done somatic work before. You don't need to know what it is yet. You just need to be ready for the pattern to loosen - and open to trying something that doesn't run through the mind.
Because the loop you keep running isn't held in your thoughts. It's held in your body - in the sensations, reactions, and impulses that fire before your mind has caught up. That's where we work.
How We Work
The Loop is body-based Psychotherapy - which means the work goes deeper and moves faster than talking alone can.
In each session, we work with what you bring - the pattern, the situation, the reaction you can't seem to shake. But we don't stay in the story. We slow down enough for the body to join. The tightness in your chest when you think about it. The dropped feeling in your stomach. The particular quality of the shutdown. That's where the actual material lives, and that's where the pattern is held.
The work is somatic at its foundation - meeting what's held in the body directly, without forcing it, and without needing you to understand it first. We meet what's underneath at a pace that's tolerable. We build your capacity to be with what's there. And from that, everything else starts to shift.
This is faster and quieter than what you might be used to. You leave sessions differently than you came in. Something's actually moved. That's what makes it different.

Questions
What if I do Session 1 and decide not to continue?
↓That's exactly what Session 1 is for. It's a full session - 60 minutes to meet, to sense whether the work fits, and to feel what it's like to be met this way. If you choose not to continue, you've had a session that stands on its own. There's no pressure to continue.
What if I need to cancel or reschedule?
↓Life happens, and the programme is designed to accommodate it. If something unexpected comes up mid-programme, we'll find a way through it together.
What if nothing happens during a release session?
↓Sometimes the body needs time to settle, feel safe and trust, before it does anything at all. That's information and there's real movement in it too. Each session is singular, and what emerges depends on where you are and what your system is ready for. The pacing of the programme is designed for this.
I'm already in therapy with someone else - can I do this?
↓Yes. Many clients do this work alongside their existing therapy. What we do here complements rather than replaces the work you're doing elsewhere. If it feels relevant, you may choose to mention it to your other practitioner, so they can support you through the process.
What if I'm not sure I'm ready?
↓Book Session 1. It's the clearest way to find out. Readiness isn't always something you know from the outside - sometimes it becomes clear only once you're in the room.
